Terminologies for Keyword Research

SERP

SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page. This is the page you see after entering a query into a search engine. It displays the results that the search engine deems most relevant to the user’s query.

For example, you go to Google, search for the term “how to cook scrambled eggs” and press enter. Google will then show you the SERP of how to cook scrambled eggs.

KD

KD stands for Keyword Difficulty. KD is a metric developed by Ahrefs. Keyword Difficulty measures how difficult it would be to rank for a specific keyword in search engine results pages (SERPs). CR

CR stands for Conversion Rate, which is a metric used in digital marketing and e-commerce to measure the percentage of visitors who take a desired action, such as making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter, or completing a form. It is calculated by dividing the number of conversions by the total number of visitors and then multiplying by 100 to get the percentage.

CTR

CTR stands for Click-Through Rate, which is another important metric in online advertising and email marketing. It measures the ratio of clicks on a specific link (such as an ad or a hyperlink in an email) to the total number of impressions (or views) of that link.
